Korerima, also known as Ethiopian cardamom , is a spice from the ginger family, Aframomum corrorima, that is native to Ethiopia. It's a staple in Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine, used in spice blends, stews, and even to flavour coffee. The spice has a bold, aromatic flavour profile, described as floral, smoky, earthy, and sometimes with notes of black tea or cooling eucalyptus.
